Lottery scams have been around for a while now but still people are falling victim to these heartless crimes and more often than not elderly vulnerable people are being targeted. Recently in Weston Super Mare an elderly man was conned out of his life savings of £26,000 after falling prey to lottery con artists.

Lottery spending in Spain has fallen

Due to the increasingly difficult economic conditions in Spain and the rest of Europe, lottery spending in Spain has fallen by €151 million for the first 34 weeks of this year which is a decline of approximately 3% compared to the same period last year.
