Father-of-four, Chris Crane told his kids “if they want some money they will have to earn it†after he bought a handful of small farms in Georgia with his lottery winnings.

A park in Sunderland is to be given a £2.4 million facelift courtesy of the National Lottery’s Lottery Heritage Fund and Big Lottery Fund. The Edwardian park was awarded the lottery cash to completely regenerate and renovate the site in a project which will take around 18 months.
