On Tuesday night, one of the contestants of a US TV lottery game show was run over and killed by a car, in what appears to be a tragic accident. The Ohio Lottery prize winner died while celebrating her windfall with friends in a local bar.

Lottery winner Deborah McDonald from Crystal Rock, Ohio had just left a bar in Sandusky, Ohio, where she had been celebrating winning $8,000 as a contestant on the Ohio Lottery’s Cash Explosion Double Play TV show when was struck by a vehicle as she made her way home along the road. When reporting about the incident, Ohio Highway Patrol has stated that this tragedy appears to be a terrible accident and they don’t believe that the driver of the car was doing anything wrong at the time of the accident.

The Ohio Lottery was also in the news earlier this week for a quite different reason. A recent decision by Commissioners at the Ohio Lottery has paved the way for the US state of Ohio to sell Powerball Lottery tickets in addition to the Mega Millions tickets that it currently offers to its players. Ohio is just one of many US states and territories to now offer both the Mega Millions and Powerball Lottery tickets.

If you want to buy tickets to the Mega Millions, Powerball Lottery and many more you can do so safely and securely online here at Online Lotto. Simply choose the lottery you would like to play from the tabs at the top of the screen then buy tickets in seconds without even getting out of your chair.
