The EuroMillions and Mega Millions rolled over last night with the EuroMillions Lottery not even giving away a 2nd tier prize and the Mega Millions just giving away one. These lean lottery results aren’t the result of lower ticket sales as the Mega Millions jackpot grew from $12 million to $17 million and the EuroMillions had its biggest jackpot for three weeks.
Even though four out of five of last night’s main EuroMillions Lottery numbers were closely grouped together, the fact that no ticket holders managed to win either a share of the jackpot or even match five main lottery numbers plus one lucky star to win a 2nd tier prize is unusual.

Another amazing fact about last night’s EuroMillions draw is the fact that only five players in the whole of Europe managed to match five main lottery numbers on their own, three of which were from the UK. This means that these five lucky lottery players each take home a whopping £550,723.30 in comparison to the £66,493.20 awarded to last week’s 3rd tier prize winners so it may not have been a good week for jackpot hunters but last night’s third tier EuroMillions winners took home more than some National Lottery jackpot winners have won this year.
Last night’s winning UK National Lottery numbers are; 2, 29, 31, 32 and 38 with the Lucky Stars being drawn as 1 and 4.
The Mega Millions Lottery had a $17 million jackpot up for grabs but just like the EuroMillions, the Mega Millions Lottery failed to award its top prize. In a similar fashion to its European counterpart, the Mega Millions Lottery had a lean night too with just one winner of the $250,000 2nd prize for matching five main lottery numbers without the Mega Ball.
Last night’s winning Mega Millions Lottery numbers are; 11, 36, 37, 41 and 55 with the Mega Ball being drawn as 7.
